TAB Sportsbet Cranbourne Cup Day is the biggest social event in the City of Casey and forms apart of one of Victoria’s premier sporting events, the Spring Racing Carnival. On Sunday, 9 October 2011 the TAB Sportsbet Cranbourne Cup Day will once again provide an entertaining racing programme with ten races including the $100,000 Apache Cat Classic, the best jockeys and trainers and high quality fields with many local chances. The fillies will also flock to the track from all over Melbourne showcasing the latest Spring fashions as they compete in Myer Fashions on the Field. There’s free entertainment and rides for the younger kids around the grounds with a jumping castle, giant slide and our new fantastic playground. As the biggest social event in the City of Casey, it’s the perfect day for your corporate function in your own fully catered private marquee. Cranbourne Turf Club’s food & beverage packages are competitively priced; they all have fantastic views of the track and are a great alternative to corporate hospitality at Metropolitan racing clubs. The Cox Plate is arguably the greatest two minutes in sport with an honour board of winners including Better Loosen Up, Kingston Town, Might and Power, Sunline, Northerly, Makybe Diva and So You Think. In the 2011/12 racing season, the Cranbourne Turf Club will race on Cox Plate Day, so if you can’t get down to Moonee Valley you can experience all the fun and excitement at the Cranbourne Turf Club. It promises to be a fantastic day out at the Cranbourne Turf Club with eight great local races, plenty of bookies in the Betting Ring, a band on the lawn and all the racing action from Moonee Valley on the bigscreen.
