The Spring Carnival glitz & glamour comes to Moe this premier day of the year with the $130,000 Steeline Moe Cup. The Moe Racing Club never fails to rise to the occasion on Moe Cup Day, a fun day where almost anything goes. Over many years this day has grown to attract up to 10,000 people through the gates and has gained a reputation as being the biggest social and sporting event in Gippsland.

The Melbourne Cup is more than just a horse race – it’s a social tradition that ‘stops the nation’ and is one of the biggest days at the Moe Racing Club.
There will be heaps of action on course with a big screen host, live music and free kids activities. There is also a Fashions on the Field competition, and this day is definitely a day to embrace the fashions fiesta with an ensemble that exudes the eminence that is Melbourne Cup Day. Flemington will be on the big screen and a full array of TAB and bookies facilities, along with 6 oncourse races throughout the day. This is great for people who have a smaller group and want to have their own function rather than be in a club marquee. The park enclosure in located behind the corporate marquees on the main lawn with all the comfort of being near all facilities including, TAB, toilets, and bar only a stones throw away.

Without a doubt this is the place to be for fun and festivities. Located 20m from the finish post and elevated above the general public on the main lawn you will have a bird’s eye view of the home straight as the horses round the final turn.
